ORIGIN HISTORY:
Coffee has been cultivated in Panama’s highlands since the 19th century, where volcanic soil, cool mountain climates, and high elevations create ideal conditions for producing some of the world’s most celebrated coffees. Over the past few decades, Panama has earned global recognition through prestigious competitions and auctions, particularly for its Geisha varieties, which have become known for their remarkable clarity, florality, and refined complexity.

FARM PROCESS:
This coffee comes from the La Huaca plot of Hacienda Barbara in Renacimiento, Chiriquí, an award-recognized estate known for meticulous cultivation and quality-focused processing. The farm has received multiple placements in the Best of Panama competition, building a reputation for producing elegant and expressive coffees across both traditional and Geisha categories. Carefully washed to preserve clarity and structure, this lot highlights the precision and craftsmanship that define exceptional high-elevation Panamanian coffee.

CUP PROFILE:
Expect an elegant and highly aromatic cup with delicate floral character and vibrant fruit sweetness. Notes of rose and raspberry unfold alongside sparkling acidity, tea-like structure, and a silky body that carries through to a clean, refined finish. A classic expression of washed Panamanian Geisha.
