Welcome to Dueling Rabbits Coffee, where curiosity, craftsmanship, and rare origins take center stage.

I’m Adam, founder and roaster, and this adventure began in a place most of us never expect, slowed down by circumstance, pushed into reinvention, and sparked by creative obsession.

During the pandemic, I stepped away from my life as a fine-dining chef and finally had time to breathe… and to create. First came candles, bold fragrances with storytelling baked into every jar. Then came coffee, an ever-deepening passion that felt like a calling. I dove into sourcing, roasting, tasting, and learning everything I could about the world’s coffee landscapes. The weirder the origin, the more fascinated I became.

I launched a tiny studio, selling candles and exotic plants while secretly dreaming about the coffee program that would one day take over. That day arrived when I moved to Wilmington, Delaware, a city filled with character, culture, and community. Here, Dueling Rabbits found its true momentum. Our first major debut came in 2023 at the Brandywine Festival of the Arts, and the crowd response was electric. We sold out fast. And the message was clear:

People are ready for something different.

Today, our focus is on exceptional single-origin coffees, especially from regions rarely seen in the U.S. We highlight the stories behind each farm, the landscapes they grow in, and the flavors that make them unforgettable. Alongside that, we continue to create artful candles, curate unique houseplants, and build a space where coffee lovers feel at home.

And this is only the beginning.
