Honduras - San Vicente Geisha

Coffee has been part of Honduras’ agricultural landscape for centuries, growing into one of the country’s most important exports. In regions such as Santa Bárbara, high elevations, cooler mountain temperatures, and fertile soils have helped establish a reputation for refined, expressive coffees with strong clarity and structure.

This lot was produced by smallholder farmers surrounding the San Vicente Mill, a processing hub that has played an important role in Santa Bárbara’s specialty coffee development. In the years following major challenges such as coffee leaf rust, many producers in the region reinvested in their farms, improved cultivation practices, and placed greater emphasis on higher-quality varieties and meticulous processing.

This lot is composed of Geisha, a variety prized for its floral character, clarity, and elegant cup structure. Carefully washed and dried, it showcases the kind of precision and refinement that has made Santa Bárbara one of Honduras’ most notable specialty coffee regions.
